The purpose of Invested Alternative is to provide a better way to raise money for people needing relief from life's unfair financial burdens. By utilizing borrowed money and investment income, everyone gets to participate in improving lives while keeping and even earning money in your pockets in the end. It's the best opportunity to work together and make each other stronger!
We want people to live their best life and be at peace with their finances and overall well being. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to be rich, but as long as you are debt free, have basic comforts to ward off stress, and time to do what you love. That is true prosperity.
All throughout time good people have banded together to help others less fortunate. We see examples of this when aid is given to victims of natural disasters and when churches and charities offer help to the poor, hungry, and homeless.
Many charities raise big money for good causes, but once spent, the money's gone. If you have $5 to donate to a good cause, once donated it's gone.
Invested Alternative provides a renewable source of aid in that all donations and income from "Lighten the Load" participants are pooled for investment into income producing assets. The income from those invested earnings are given to people that need a break from life's financial setbacks.
Participants in "Lighten the Load" also have the opportunity to get their money back and earn more. People can participate again and again and get their money back to either give again or use for another purpose. Everybody benefits!
The Invested Alternative conversation is a commentary on life about trying to make things better. We talk about our experiences and things that've had a big impact on us - an impact on our lives. We have fun talking about crappy jobs we've had, what we learned from them, some of our experiences, people we've met, funny stories, sad stories, whatever. Share the stories about people or events that've helped you and made a difference. We also discuss politics, policies, and current event issues that are helping or hurting and ideas to improve and how to better help people understand the struggles people face and how to possibly address them.
